This year we decided to go to the Christmas lighting festival in Leavenworth Washington. It always looks so magical, the Bavarian themed village deep in the snow capped mountains on the northwest. Thanks to mother nature, my skills in finding an enjoyable private condo with all the extra amenities one could want, and the christmas spirit that leavenworth has, it was a true winter wonderland experience & great memory.

Next weekend in Seattle will be pulsing with hemp advocates, consumers, and the curious…with Seattle Hempfest happening, the Highlarious comedy festival and the Hempfest Business Trade show. Pick one or indulge in all 3, but if you;re in Seattle next weekend and know a lil about cannabis, why not learn a little more and have a unique fun time while do it! I Love to laugh, so I’ll be checking out the comedy fest fo sho. 🙂

It’s pride month and pride weekend here in Seattle and several other cities across the nation and this ruling will make the celebrations endearing this year. The glbt rights movement has been visibly ongoing since stonewall and now, 40 something years later we as a nation of diverse people are embracing our differences and allowing people to be who they are, without so much forced conformity to fit into an idea of who we should be and how we should act, especially when it comes to ones gender. We have assigned so many roles based on gender, those roles are finally being questioned and adapting to the current era of civilization, which has room & desire for love and kindness.
Today is a victory for humanity. 
Same-sex marriage is now a constitutional right in all fifty states! Sexual orientation isn’t a choice, but supporting equal rights is. #LoveWins #stonewall #MarriageEquaility #EqualityForAll
The supreme court is hearing arguments for and against the idea of marriage equality, an idea that says same sex couples have the same rights granted by the constitution and straight couples do, hence the term marriage equality. The definition of what is marriage is being examined and defined. I always believed marriage was linked to love and commitment…..though I have been hearing some people say marriage was always about child rearing and nothing more. Well we live in a different era than when we needed to procreate to contribute here. The world is populated and i say let people be together for love, rather than only to bring children into the world. That is great if you want to do that, but we shouldn’t exclude people who chose not to, and if you are in love with someone and it is mutual, why shouldn’t you be allowed that joy of love. Support marriage equality between consenting adults.
As a hemp activist, 4/20 is an ideal day to gather to celebrate & educate others about the benefits of the hemp plant. So wear your hemp shirts, skirts, and shoes … create art about hemp or even better using hemp products….change your social networking photos to a pro hemp image and/or write a post about industrial hemp, link to sites that promote hemp knowledge and industrial hemp products.

It’s blue Friday, playoffs, and the divisional tittle game this Sunday…Seattle is alive with the eclectic energy of the #12’s the 12th man. The feeling here in Seattle is electric and jovial, truly something beautiful to witness and be a part of. Yes, I said beautiful in reference to gridiron football, when you see how the community joins together for a common cause, smiling, helping, saying hi to strangers and having conversations with people who on the surface you may not ever have an ice breaker to say hi or realize that we all have things in common despite some apparent differences, well that is beautiful my friends. Some people are shocked I am such a football fan, just as sometimes I am shocked at how eco friendly and liberal some of the pickup truck driving, buzzcut wearing, fisherman can be. 🙂 The 12’s break all boundaries, social stereo types and brings us together.
